Frenchie’s Burgers

// //

Burgers are back! Thanks to Frenchie’s Burgers we can enjoy quality gourmet burgers again. I missed the years when hamburgers were all the rage. But now thanks to Frenchmen Alexandre Martiano and Edouard Gaudin from Villa Coucou, we can enjoy good burgers again.

These French gentlemen take their food seriously, hence we get quality fusion gourmet burgers here. You can choose between, beef, salmon, chicken or aubergine burgers. I tried the beef and aubergine. Both are good but my favourite is the beef. The first time I tried one I had in the words of Janice Litman-Goralnik (Friends) an “Oh..my…God!” moment. Why did it take me until now to try a burger with goat cheese? It is so good.

Frenchie’s Burger is located at Hooikade, which is next to Denneweg. Their burger is so good that I will power walk all the way there from my apartment to get my burger and their oh-so-good potatoes and pesto mayo. The coleslaw ain’t slacking either. And their brownie with caramel sauce is delicious! The food is very filling, and every time it leaves me full.

Every ingredient here is carefully made before opening time. When you order your burger meat/fish/veggie will be cooked and the rest will be carefully assembled.

Just one pointer, the beef burger is served medium. If like me you can’t eat medium-cooked meat, make sure to ask for well done.
